Buk, a Santiago de Chile, Chile-based provider of a people management platform, raised $35M in funding.
The round was led by Base10.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth in Mexico, enter Brazil, and increase its participation in Chile, Peru, and Colombia, and to continue developing products and hiring talent.
Founded in 2017 by Chileans Jaime Arrieta, Santiago Lira, Teresita Morán, Felipe Sateler and Ricardo Sateler, Buk is building a cloud-based platform that allows companies to manage their human resources, from payroll to professional development. The solution also includes tools like company climate surveys, performance evaluations, ATS, and time & attendance, with the mission “building happier workplaces”.
The company had a record sales growth of 2.5x during 2022 and is already present in Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico with nearly 4,000 clients across the region.
